Information We Collect

We collect the information needed to provide your Kvittun account, including identity details provided during sign-in, contact details you choose to share, receipt activity, device information, and basic usage data.

We may also process technical information such as IP address, browser or app version, diagnostics, and security logs to keep the service reliable and protected.

How We Use Information

We use your information to authenticate you, deliver digital receipts, show receipt history, support merchants, prevent fraud, improve the product, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing

We share information only when needed to operate Kvittun, such as with merchants involved in a receipt transaction, infrastructure providers, analytics and security vendors, or authorities when legally required.

Service providers are expected to handle information securely and only for the purposes we authorize.

Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal requirements.

You may request deletion of your account, subject to records we must retain for compliance, accounting, fraud prevention, or legitimate business needs.

Your Choices

You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.

You may also control app permissions such as camera access through your device settings.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.

No system is perfectly secure, but we work to limit access, monitor risks, and respond quickly to issues.
